Dr. David D. Oglesby is a Professor of Geophysics in the Department of Earth and Planetary Sciences at the University of California, Riverside, where he has been a faculty member since 2000. His research uses numerical simulations to investigate earthquake rupture, fault interactions, and strong ground motion, including along the San Andreas fault system. He is UCR’s full-time Associate Dean of the Graduate Division and serves as Co-Chair of UCDRN’s EDUCATE division. He previously chaired UCDRN’s Executive Committee.
